First Night at the new house!!

After alot of hard work, we had our first night sleeping at the new house! It was so nice! We are still living amongst quite a few boxes but are getting there quickly :) Yesterday was the biggest move day we had so far ... we did all the heavy furniture and so we needed alot of extra help! We wouldn't be in without the help of good family and friends! We were joined first thing in the morning and had help until we were able to go to bed late last night! We feel very blessed and fortunate to live by such loving family and friends! Thanks again for getting us moved in so quick! We'll get pictures up soon! My camera is still somewhere lost in the shuffle so it'll be another day or so :)

Feeling neglected?? here's why :)

We feel like we've been pretty absent from life outside of building this house lately! It's been time consuming but here's a few pics of the upstairs moving in and the progress we've started to make! It might be a few days before I get final pictures up ... we're hoping to be all moved in this week so we have a busy time ahead of us! Thanks to friends and family who have made such efforts this week so far to get us to where we are! Love you all!

Winterize your cars :)

Getting Cars Ready for any Emergency

-Good First Aid Kit
-Cell Phone, Flashlight, and Extra Batteries
-A 3 day supply of food, water and a can opener
-Windshield scraper, paper towels, jumper cables, and snow chains
-Blankets and warm clothes
-Nonclumping cat litter or sand for tire traction
-Tool kit
-Bright colored flag

With the bad weather if you get stranded in your car, stay inside unless help is visible. Clear snow from the exhaust pipe to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. For warmth, turn on the car engine for about 10 minutes every hour and run the heater. Wrap up in a blanket or put on extra clothes. To increase your visibility, raise your car hood or tie a cloth to your antenna.

Kamdin's birthday party!

Our Kamdin girl turned 4 today! Crazy how fast time goes! She's a beautiful little "princess"! She wanted dress ups for her birthday and dress ups she got! We had so fun with everyone! Sis made Cafe Rio dinner which was better than the original! We love being so close with our family!

Boston & Hunter bathing!

We were all spending the evening at mom and dads and thought it would be fun to save time and do bath time together for Hunter and Boston! They are the cutest little buddies! Boston got pulled out of the tub just in the knick of time ... Hunter shot a fountain of pee right where Bos was! It was so funny! After, they watched each other and laughed for a while! It's so fun to have cousins close!

Boston eating his first real meal!

Boston did so good with his first time with the rice! He ate the whole bowl so fast ... he's a pro! Baylee tried to feed his rice to her baby too! She's such a great helper :)

Baylee Dress ups :)

Baylee got some dress up things for Christmas and her birthday this year and thinks they are the thing to wear everyday! We haven't had too many fits yet on wearing them out in public but I'm sure it won't be too far off! :) This is in her cheerleader outfit from her Aunt Jenn ... she puts the purse on too and says it's just like Jenn's purse! She loves it!

Boston 4 month shots

Boston had his 4 month Dr. check up today! He weighs in at 18lbs 10oz and is 27 inches long!! He is in the 96% on both! He's a big boy ... it's no wonder why my mucles are getting bigger from lugging him around in that car seat! He's a sweetheart and as heartbreaking as it is to see him get his shots, after it's over he looks at me like "just hold me!" it melts my heart!

Baylee and Boston

Baylee loves her little brother so much! Every morning when she wakes up the first thing she asks is "where's my Boston Boston?" She loves to hold him and kiss him and trys to help burp him, which can be a scary thing at times! Boston is lucky to have such a good big sister! I know I am biased but these are the cutest kids ever! :)

My little helper!

Baylee has found a new calling in life as a "little chef" (from her favorite movie right now ... Ratatouille)! Everytime I am in the kitchen, she is by my side in her apron ready to help! She is pretty good at getting the item in the bowl when she is dumping ingredients in but still enjoys taking it for a taste test!

Baylee's 3rd bday!

Happy Birthday Baylee! Wow I can't believe how fast 3 years can go by! Baylee has been a joy from the moment we layed eyes on her! She has an enthusiasm for life like nobody I've seen before (well except for my mom! 2 peas in a pod!). I learn from her constantly and am ever amazed at how smart she is! She says and does something new every day that blows me away at how grown up she is becoming! She is a loving sister and daughter and we are so lucky to have her in our lives!

Well today started out busy from the get go! She was ready to open presents as soon as she opened her eyes but had to be patient for daddy to come back from work to be part of it all! She helped me make breakfast for her ... which was scrambled eggs, toast and apple juice! (she'd have that everyday if she could) Then after the presents were opened she decided she wanted to go see 'Enchanted'. Tone, me, Boston, Nana, Kaka, Hunter and Baylee all went to the matinee. She loved it and still is calling it 'Cinderella' but it's close enough :) We then went to Red Lobster for dinner ... now that was more for Tone, Baylee wanted to go to Tepanyaki but since Tone went to the complete chick flick we thought it better to give in to him! By the time we got home we were ready for the party! Baylee had invited friends and family over to enjoy cake and ice cream (and we ordered some pizza too!). Aunt Lynsie and Luke got here first, followed by Brandon, Brady, Brycie and Boston and Aunt April, Savanah, Wyatt and Charly too :) Then Aunt Jessica, Ty, Hunter, Auntie Sis, Brydon, Kamdin, Logan, Nana and Papa all came in! Nana made Baylee a doll cake that Baylee had picked out! She has been talking about it since New Years Eve when we planned it and was so excited to see it in real life! We enjoyed each other and the kids played like crazy! Uncle Joe Joe, Jenn and Braxton got here and we got the anticipated present opening started followed by cake and ice cream. It was a great day and we appreciate all our friends and family who went to such efforts to make it a special day for our little princess! Love you Baylee!

New Year Resolutions

Well as we start the New Year, as a family there is a few things that we want to work on. 1: Both, family in Washington and here have all felt the need to work on our food storage and 72 hour kits and just being prepared in general. We are going to take it in stride and have a plan each month to get things going! I thought it would be good to keep a log of it on our blog just to help out anyone else who might be wanting to do this too :) so keep checking back ... I'm going to try to keep it posted! 2: This might be a little short term for the whole year but we want to get moved in the new house and settled quick! We have lots of projects still in the making but hope to get through them all! 3: With the new craft room I'm going to be getting, I really have a need to get all my scrapbooks caught up and personal records up to date. These should keep us busy for the year! We have many more on the list but hopefully these are some you can check up on us with to make sure we're coming along with them! We're grateful for our friends and family who continue to help us with love and support as we progress!
